Surrealism project
In the Surrealism project, I used photo editing programs to create a juxtaposition that incorporated hot air balloons and random objects such as blowfish, peanuts, hands, and a human face. The purpose of this project was to have 2 completely different objects and use them in a single piece.
First, I had to think of juxtapositions. Although it was hard coming up with the ideas, Sohee gave me the idea of using a blowfish' head as the balloon of a hot-air balloon. After this, I began to come up with several other random balloons such as a baby's head, a peanut, and a hand.
As previously mentioned, the hardest part of the project was coming up with the juxtaposition. However, another hard part was editing the photos with the software that Mrs. Lopez recommended. Because my computer was not compatible withe program, I ended up using preview as my own photo-editing program. On the other hand, however, the easiest part of this project was coming up with other ideas for the balloons after the blowfish. The blowfish balloon idea inspired me to put other quite random things as balloons as well.
